Josie Hayden is a Melbourne-based commercial and editorial photographer with more than 20 years' professional experience working across hospitality, events, corporate communications, architecture, portraiture and media photography.
Her career began at The Hamilton Spectator, where she completed a photography cadetship before progressing to Chief Photographer. Josie later spent more than a decade with News Corp Australia, producing photography for the Herald Sun and Leader Newspapers before establishing her freelance photography business in 2017.
Today, she works with businesses, government organisations, media outlets, agencies and venues to create authentic imagery that tells a story, builds a brand and engages an audience. Her work spans food and hospitality photography, events, commercial and corporate content, editorial assignments, architecture and portraiture.
Whether photographing a busy restaurant service, a corporate event, an executive portrait or an editorial feature, Josie focuses on creating a positive experience for clients and subjects while delivering high-quality imagery that meets the brief.
